Because lately it seems like faithfully reporting the news means another article on which flickering head starts weeping on camera. I won't discount emotion as a catalyst for action, but when there's a tendency to show such catalysts to generate sympathy for one side, neglecting or refusing to do so for the other is blatantly partisan. For those who feel the frustration that media outlets are remedying that imbalance, that frustration is deserved.
