Midnight snack

This is one place I go when I drift.
I set too much time on the eggs, but it's easier to peel hard-boiled than soft-boiled. Carrot "flowers" created by shaving the root end, not the stem end, of a peeled carrot using a paring knife, almost like sharpening a pencil with that knife. Next experiment: fresh noodles versus dried.
Am I supposed to pity the network in question here, or are these just (only or reap-the-sown) consequences of what it chose to broadcast over other material? (On a completely unrelated note, two things: do keep howling, 豺狼, and I note in particular this article's mention of "the cost of complicit public silence.")
Ending with this because, oddly enough, it's a reminder to do my nails.
