I'd say that the only change in the entertainment was the hand that night, but taking the mirror into account ensures I remain unmoved by that which is entirely unchanging - the movement of others, now that's another matter.
There's at least one reason to choose an e-car, but if I'm reading this correctly, not even a subsidy makes much of a dent in the difference between electric and standard vehicles. 314,650 divided by this equals about 26 years - would any e-cars now on the market last that long, and how do the numbers from overseas translate elsewhere?
